KB's K9 Fitness is owned and operated by Ashland resident, KB Eastman. KB has worked as a Registered Nurse in the Richmond area for over 25 years. You will often find KB at the local trails running with her dog, Brylie. She has five other dogs (Roscoe, Figgy, Poppy, Phoebe and Bitsy Boo) that she takes on shorter walks or stroller rides as they each have special needs and are unable to run the trails. It was out of this love of being with dogs and outdoor fitness, that KB retired from nursing, and KB's K9 Fitness was unleashed. KB decided to make her dream of working with dogs a full-time reality and promises to provide your dog a healthy, safe, and fun experience.

It all began with a walk at Bryan Park where there was a dog adoption event going on and it was love at first sight. Roscoe was quickly adopted by KB at 7 months of age. Although he is missing a leg, Roscoe doesn't let this stop him. He is an inspiration to many! Roscoe loves all things outdoors! He enjoys hiking (although now a days he is carried for half the hike 😀), short walks and stroller time, plus sun-bathing on the deck. He is a great protector of his siblings and loves to be cuddled.
RIP Roscoe 6/15/2010-1/18/2025
Erica previously worked as an outdoor guide while she attended VCU, leading hiking trips and kayaking classes for fellow students. Now she enjoys doing field work and taking her two shepherds, (Echo and Big Daddy), hiking and swimming in the parks around Richmond. She would love to take your dog swimming at Paws to Swim or to your local park for a nature walk or trail run!

Kaitlyn grew up with all sorts of animals in her life to include German Shepherds, a few cats, reptiles and horses. She has fostered animals in the past, particularly pups with behavioral issues, and ultimately ended up with seven dogs that have become her whole life (Pretty Jewel, Isabella, Fiona, Oliver, Gus, Ranger and Diesel). Believe it or not - Kaitlyn has more dogs than me (she beats me by one)! She also has two chinchillas and one cat.
In her free time, Kaitlyn loves going to concerts - but most of her life revolves around spending time with her dogs, hiking, swimming, camping and competing in dock diving and fast CAT.
Krystol is a Mechanicsville local, proud dog mom of two dock-diving stars, and professional treat distributor! Whether it's a relaxed walk or a lively adventure, she will make sure your pup gets the love, exercise, and attention they deserve.
